Context
In August 2005, the Walloon government launched an action plan to reinvigorate the regional economy. It comes with a budget of € 280 million for 'Competitiveness Centers'. Growth will be focused on specific economic sectors, among which Transport & Logistics.

The LO-V-WALL project
The project aims to design, create, market and support (locally and internationally) an innovative and flexible Vocal Logistics solution, from breakthrough R&D to end-user training.

Budgets & Duration
The LO-V-WALL project extends over 24 months. Its total (R&D) projects amounts to roughly 2,5 M€.

Voice-Insight (Belgium): Extend the scope and enhance global performance of the VQL for-Logistics-on-the-GO™ products, through tight integration with the participants’ complimentary technologies and skills. www.voice-insight.com
Mestdagh (Belgium): Validate the frameworks and all successive deliveries in a true Logistics environment that will act as permanent pilot and reference centre for the project. www.mestdagh.be
Forem Logistique (Belgium): Promote the skills workforces in Wallonia by training unemployed persons as well as current logistics workers, to the power of voice-driven Logistics & Transport. www.leforem.be

The LO-V-WALL project started Q4 2007.
