Voice-Insight is an independent software editor specialized in embedded voice recognition applications. It was founded in 1999 in Brussels, Belgium, and has about 30 employees in Europe and the U.S.
Voice-Insight's patented technology allow voice interaction with any database application. It boasts a portfolio of voice applications for different market segments (logistics, inspection, maintenance...), which all were developed with partners specialized in their trade. Voice-Insight's SDK offers an exceptional flexibility to integrate a vocal interface with an existing application.
In logistics, Voice-Insight not only voice-enables picking, but also has dedicated solutions for inventory, sorting, and inverse logistics.
Voice solutions do not require any voice training, and are hardware-independent, running on PCs and PDAs. Dialogues are widely customizable, for instance identification dialogues support reading out codes naturally instead of digit by digit.
Voice-Insight's logistics solutions were certified on the following LXE
hardware: HX2, HX3, MX7, MX8, MX9 and also the VX8 computer.
The wireless BlueTooth(R) BlueVQL headset proposed by Voice-Insight was also certified on the VX8 and the MX8. It offers operators enhanced mobility, be it in logistics, or in other sectors.
